In order to feature in the search engines you need to have plenty quality back links pointing to your domain.

The more quality back links on your website the higher it scores with the search engines.

In other words getting back links from domains that have high page ranks.

There are numerous ways of getting back links, some ways can be very time consuming. Like swaping links with other webasters.
However did I discovered a much quicker way with instant results, meaning I got indexed in googles database within a day.

Of everything I've tried this produce instant results is to make a posting in a forum.

I've posted a reply in a forum including my signature and my website was indexed by google the very next day.

Here is how I do it.

First I set up a blog either using a free blog platform like blogger.com or wordpress.com or I use one of my domain pages to create a blog. See http://www.women-game.com/world_blogging.htm where I list the best blog sites I could find on the internet. Particularly blogs that address blog marketing or in other words website promotion relying heavily on search engine traffic.

Then I update the information on my blog daily or even more than once a day.

On each update I ping my blog to blogging platforms.

Now these platforms have been around for a long time and has gained good page ranks. Much higher than what I have at the moment. And all for free.

Here are two pinging platforms I use regularly. http://www.pingoat.com and http://www.pingomatic.com

Now search engines spider these platforms probably many times daily thus resulting in my case I'm spidered as well. Search engine optimization becomes very easy since being spidered regularly I can tweak my sites title and decription further trying to improve my domains visibility in the search engines.

The next technique I like a lot is to go to marketing forums webmaters forums which allow me to add my domain in the signature thus I have a hyper link. Again another back link and I get visitors as well from my posting.

Then article writing can also help boost your sites visibility. Places I've listed my articles in the past is htp://www.ideamarketers.com and http://www.goarticles.com Also putting up a press release can add to your sites visibility but working slow as it was in my case. Another way I can see working very well is to post comments on other peoples blogs including your signature.
