High ranking blog pages usually fetch higher positions in the search engines

The more back links you get from high page rank domains the higher your blogs page rank grows.

If your'e not on the first page of a search engine you'll find that you don't get much traffic.

So how do we promote our blogs websites to gain high positions in the search engines.

To reach these blogging platforms is to ping your blogs information to them.

Here are two pinging platforms I use regularly. http://www.pingoat.com and http://www.pingomatic.com

Each time I update my blog I reping the blogging platforms informing them that new content was added. Search engines just love new content and spider these blogging platforms regurely thus my domain is spidered as well. Some times it could happen on a daily basis.

The next thing I do is to post in marketing forums, webmaster forums etc. looking for those where I can include my signature.

Another way I can see working very well is to post comments on other peoples blogs including your signature.
