Michael Jackson Trail Janet Jackson is returning to the United States immediately.

After private discussions with her family regarding her late brother Michael Jackson, it became necessary for Miss Jackson to leave Australia for the next several days.

" I want to thank my fans in Australia for their love, support and understanding. When I planned these shows, the schedule in California was completely different. After talking with my family last night, I decided we must be together right now. I'm looking forward to being with you for the Gold Coast, Sydney, and the Melbourne concerts. You are all so important to me. This saddens me in so many ways. I love you," said Janet Jackson in this exclusive statement.

To ensure that Janet’s Melbourne fans do not miss out on her “Number Ones” tour, the concerts scheduled for this week on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday are now planned to take place in a special configuration at Rod Laver Arena for one night only on November 3rd. Tickets for all of the Melbourne shows will be honoured at the Nov. 3 concert.

“It is important that Janet is with her family at this critical point in the hearing. While Janet and our company apologize for any inconvenience for the reschedule of the Melbourne shows, we thank Janet for the great and successful concerts in Perth and Adelaide and eagerly await her return. I’m sure the rescheduled concert on November 3 will be a very, very special night. Our thoughts and prayers are with Janet and the entire Jackson family," promoter Paul Dainty said.

Janet’s concerts on the Gold Coast and in Sydney are unaffected.

Dr. Paul White - Dr. Paul White, anesthesiologist and propofol expert

The use of the drug propofol to treat Jackson's insomnia was "a complete off-label use of the drug," he said. White also acknowledged that the drug should never be given outside a medical facility because of the need for proper lifesaving equipment.

The Sudden Death Of Michael Jackson (Second Edition): The Coroner's Report And Other Medical Facts About The Causes Of Death

Michael Jackson died with six different drugs in his body, and the coroner stated that Propofol intoxication and the benzodiazepine effect produced by Lorazepam were the causes of death. What are the effects of these drugs, and why was Michael Jackson using them the day he died? Why did Michael Jackson start abusing prescription drugs in the first place, and how did years of prescription drug abuse make his death more likely? How could Michael Jackson have avoided death? The nineteen chapters in this book include the complete text of the Los Angeles Coroner's anesthesiology consultation report, their summary of toxicological findings, nontechnical descriptions the drugs that led to Michael Jackson’s death, explanations of key medical concepts and over a hundred references from medical, pharmacology and toxicology journals. The upcoming trial of Michael Jackson's doctor will hinge on various types of medical evidence.

China prepares for unmanned space launchChina prepares for unmanned space launch

China says it will launch a unmanned spacecraft on Tuesday that will dock with a capsule already orbiting the Earth.

A rocket carrying Shenzhou 8 will blast off early in the morning from the Gobi Desert and rendezvous with the Tiangong 1.

The docking - which will take place 343km above the Earth - will happen within two days of the launch.

There will be two other attempts to dock with the capsule next year, at least one of which will be manned.

Astronauts - called taikonauts in China - are already being trained for that mission, according to the manned space programme's spokeswoman Wu Ping.

Beginning with space shuttle Columbia's 1979 delivery to NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the center has been home to each of the five flown shuttle orbiters for the duration of the Space Shuttle Program. Space shuttle Atlantis completed the program on July 21, 2011, wrapping up the STS-135 mission with a predawn touchdown on the same runway where Columbia first arrived more than 30 years earlier.

World Economy

People's Republic of China

Known as the People's Republic of China under Communist rule for more than six decades, the Asian nation can be traced as far back as 221 B.C. In modern times, the world's most populous country represents a significant portion of the global economy and not always in a positive light. Exports from defective, rotting drywall to toxic toothpaste sparked outrage recently in the United States, whose debt is a major asset for the Chinese government. The country isn't just criticized for its labor practices; the government is often accused of violating human rights.

During the 2010 summer, China replaced Japan as the world's No. 2 economy as receding global growth sapped momentum and stunted a shaky recovery. China has emerged as an economic power that is changing everything from the global balance of military and financial power to how cars are designed. It is already the biggest exporter, auto buyer and steel producer, and its global influence is expanding.

American Politics

Herman Cain - USA Politician

Herman Cain has made one high-profile blunder after another since his unlikely surge to the top of the GOP presidential polls. By the normal rules of political discourse, he should be back to peddling pepperoni any day now.

He has somehow managed to emerge unscathed—but his team is determined to stop the bleeding.

“We’re trying to slow down a little bit, make sure he’s rested, make sure he’s focused,” says J.D. Gordon, the campaign’s vice president for communications. The goal is to achieve a “more deliberate pace…so we don’t make those kinds of mistakes.”

Gordon says his boss has been doing as many as seven or eight events a day, “and when you do that and don’t use a Teleprompter, sometimes you can make a mistake… People understand he’s not a career politician; he’s very spontaneous, they know how fast he’s going. People give him more leeway than they would someone who’s in Congress or a governor.”

If the polls are any indication, that’s probably true. In a Fox News poll out Wednesday, Cain was still leading the pack with 24 percent, with Mitt Romney at 20, Newt Gingrich at 12 and Rick Perry at 10.

Western Digital WD TV Live Streaming Media Player - WDBHG70000NBK-HESN

I got this media player elsewhere locally, before Amazon dropped their price. Anyway, the GUI is fine. It's easily navigable, not cluttered at all, presented in a beautiful package, and certainly easy to read. All pluses there. The first videos I attempted to play were 720p mkv files over wireless network (on a 1TB HDD connected to my computer in the basement via USB). After taking a few seconds to gather the first few pictures from the USB--> wireless connected storage device, the WDTV Live streamed the videos seamlessly! I even paused one for like 8 minutes while making dinner, and it resumed with no noticeable glitches, artifacts, or rendering/buffering. The second (and only other) file type I attempted to play was a 1080p TS file I had recorded from my cable box. This took a little bit longer between hitting play and seeing video on the screen, but time was minimal. I want to say no more than 4 or 5 seconds. Again, it had to pull the video from the HDD to the computer via USB, and then again from the computer to the media player over the wireless G network. This video also played flawlessly! No artifacting, no rendering/buffering/, no audio sync issues or dropped frames. It plays video from hella far away on the network beautifully, and resumes from pause just as well! I only have 2 cons
